     Ray Charles Colton's The Civil War in the Western Territories: Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah demonstrates that the War Between the States had a Western dimension. His work provides a good introductory primer for those with an interest in understanding the territorial dimensions of the Confederacy. The Colorado Springs MOSB website solicits input in defining the Confederate dynamic in this region. The invitation to provide input is not restricted to members of the Society, or to members of the MOSB.
